20 years of moving London

To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the London Eye in 2020 — and its new partnership with lastminute.com — we worked with Merlin to develop a print campaign that brought a fresh perspective to the brand. Showcasing the glorious, dramatic views of London for the first time, and connecting with the awe-inspiring experience of visitors in the pods.

The campaign launched with posters throughout the Underground network, as well as across London Waterloo and Euston screens on opening weekend — one week before the UK national Covid lockdown was enforced. The result was a strong opening weekend for the Eye with record visitor numbers, however the further rollout of the campaign was impacted by the closure of all non-essential activities.
