Wouldn’t happen with a Chromebook
We were approached by Netflix’s Partner Marketing team with the challenge of developing concepts for a suite of short films for the brilliant Sex Education — all with the help of Chromebook. Netflix and Google wanted to bring everyday technology fails to life in a way that communicated the benefits of Chromebook in an entertaining way for a younger audience. These films had to be a treat for fans, featuring fan-favourite characters and produced as ‘bonus scenes’ that could exist in the context of the series. We developed the creative concepts for these films, which were released ahead of the Series 2 launch of Sex Education on Netflix, together with a slew of wider PR and promotional activity.
We developed the scripts in conjunction with the Netflix Partner Marketing team and the show’s creator, Laurie Nunn. The films were directed by Ben Taylor and produced by Eleven.
