In 2019, after 17 years working across multiple agencies within OMG, Sam set out with a desire to build a home where people, partners & clients could find their bigger, more meaningful story to tell. Sam is a rare bread of strategist, with brand, comms planning and media experience. He also has a proven track record in transforming businesses and award winning creative and media work.

Marilyn Cheng

Marilyn (or Maz) is our little Swiss army knife who started out in digital making banners and has crafted her skills at agencies such as glue, VCCP Kin & Hyper. She’s built and led teams (both big and small) on clients such as O2, easyJet, Cadbury & MoreThan and she’s passionate about making work you want to talk about. She keeps things on track and leads on all things operational.

Learning from the entertainment world, we do not presume that one team fits all projects - that the same director, writer, actors and crew work for every film or show. Instead we shape teams to the client and brief, drawing on our network of ‘Roaming Giants’ and ‘Partner Giants’.

Tom Angell

A conceptual creative, copywriter and published author, Tom creates award winning ideas for agencies as well as running his own creative studio with his brother Miles, that builds entertainment brands .

Katie Dailey

WRITER

Katie started out as a journalist, wrangling good copy out of everyone from Kim Kardashian to Karl Lagerfeld. Now she writes her own - helping brands tell stories that their audiences will love hearing, writing scripts and playing with words until they're perfect. 

James Larman

STRATEGY DIRECTOR

James is a multi award winning strategist who has worked with the likes of Playstation, notonthehighstreet, BBC and Netflix. He loves helping brands find a clear place in culture and creating campaigns that get people talking. When not strategising he spends most of the time pretending to still be a superstar DJ.

Carina Martin

Carina’s background in marketing has had a strong influence on her brand writing.

She loves to get her hands dirty - digging into brands’ back stories, their customers’ behaviours, and the competitive landscape – to make sure her copy brings brands to life in the most appropriate, imaginative and inspiring way.

Jason Lawes

Jason has worked in world-class advertising agencies most of his career, winning every major award going. He is a sport freak and an FA licensed coach. In his spare time he manages a girls community football team which he says is a bigger test than managing a dysfunctional creative department. His under 11’s league cup winner’s trophy sits pride of place on the mantelpiece right in front of his Cannes gold lion.

Ian Anderson

DIRECTOR / PRODUCER / FILM MAKER

Ian Anderson is an award-winning film-maker with a heap of experience making music videos, commercials, and content for social, as well as editorial and supported content for the likes of The Guardian, BBC Arabic and Huck Magazine. Recent commercial clients include work for Sneak Energy, Active Travel England (Dept for Transport), Royal Academy of Music and Cambridge University. In his spare time he likes to play touch rugby, but he's not very good.

Lily Smith

CREATIVE / WRITER

Lily is a freelance copywriter based in London. She studied comedy writing at the National Film and Television School, and she's now up to 42% funnier.

When Lily isn't writing eye-catching copy for independent agencies and tech startups, she enjoys traveling, improv comedy, moon-gazing and various other pagan activities.

Ian Fooks

DESIGN DIRECTOR

A UX & UI designer with 15 years of experience at some of the biggest design and advertising agencies such as Dare, VCCP, Burberry & Lucky Generals amongst others. After setting up the agency Curious Ways in 2017, he now resides as a freelance consultant and designer. Fan of a rhyming couplet and the Somerset countryside.
